Import Control of Products of Non-animal Origin

Council Regulation (EU) 2017/625 on official controls and other official activities as amended sets down the general provisions for official controls on animals and goods entering the Union. For products of non-animal origin these provisions are also supplemented by more specific legislation where increased controls, emergency measures and suspension from entry into the EU are required to manage the risks posed.
