Food Enzymes - Introduction

Regulation (EC) No 1332/2008  on food enzymes is part of a legislative grouping commonly referred to as the ‘Package on Food Improvement Agents’. As well as a Regulation on food enzymes the food improvement agent package includes Regulations on food additives, flavourings and food ingredients with flavouring properties and a Regulation establishing a common authorisation procedure for additives, enzymes and flavourings.
