Calories on Menus in Ireland

The former Minister for Health, Dr. James Reilly, called on all food service businesses to display calories on food and drinks served in Ireland. More recently, the Minsiter for Health, Mr. Leo Varadkar proposed legislation which will require restaurants, take-aways and all food service outlets to post calorie details of all meals on menus.
