Flavourings Seminar

31st October 2012 at the Clarion Hotel, Dublin

This seminar sought to clarify issues surrounding flavourings for use in food, including the legislation by which they are regulated and the labelling rules related to food to which flavourings have been added.

Speakers focused on the following topics: legislation and safety assessment and labelling and enforcement. A guidance document by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, Guidance on Flavourings, 2012 was launched at the seminar.
