The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) holds a wide range of records, in hardcopy and electronic format, commensurate with its roles, responsibilities and functions. In accordance with the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2014, the Government’s Open Data initiative and the Re-Use of Public Sector Information Regulations, the FSAI endeavours to facilitate the public availability of these records through its website.

The FSAI notes that certain classes of records are exempt or excluded from release under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 and/or related legislation.
