Foxhill Foods Ltd., UK, have recalled three batches of Basil Pesto as some of the jars may contain a different pesto product which contains cheese. This makes the product unsafe for consumers who are allergic or intolerant to milk or its constituents. The product was sold in a number of outlets in Ireland.
Dairy allergy sufferers should not consume the implicated batches of Marinellos Basil Pesto.
