The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has been informed of a food recall initiated by Odlums. The implicated batches of Odlums Quick Bread and Odlums Quick Scones are being recalled as a precautionary measure because of possible presence of insects.
The products affected are:
Odlums Quick Bread Farmhouse Brown (450g) with best before date prior to 09/06/2010
Odlums Quick Scones Fruit (450g) with best before date prior to 14/11/2009
Product Recall notices will appear in national newspapers today. Retail outlets have been informed of this recall. Affected products have been withdrawn from sale.
Consumers with affected products are advised not to consume them and to call the Odlums Customer Services Department at 01 460 8106 for a full refund.
