Breakfast Bite: Food Safety Culture

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) continues to host Breakfast Bites, a long-standing series of free, informal sessions for small food businesses. These meetings provide practical advice and useful information on the topics that matter most to you.

In this short Breakfast Bite, we'll be talking about the FSAI's new Guidance Note on Food Safety Culture, which we will be publishing soon. We'll outline what's in the Guidance Note and what it means for food businesses like yours.

Why attend this event?
Food safety culture is at the heart of every food business, reflecting the attitudes and behaviours of all staff. Since 2021, it's been a legal requirement for food businesses in the EU to establish, maintain, and provide evidence of an appropriate food safety culture. This new Guidance Note from the FSAI highlights the legal requirements around food safety culture and provides best practices for food business operators on how to meet these legal obligations.

Who should attend?
This event is ideal for owners, managers, and staff of food businesses who want to better understand food safety culture, stay compliant with EU legal requirements, and apply best practices in their day-to-day operations.

This free event will be held online and will last 40 minutes. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
