Food recall in the UK
Cow & Gate and Tesco are voluntarily recalling 15 varieties of 7+ months Cow & Gate baby food jars (200 g) sold by Tesco stores in the UK, as a precautionary measure. This follows concerns that some jars may have been tampered with. This recall only involves these varieties sold in Tesco stores in the UK. The FSAI has confirmed with Tesco and the Food Standards Agency, UK that jars sold in Ireland are not affected, and are not subject to recall.
