Review of the Sampling and Microbiological Examinations undertaken by the Health Service Executive, 2007 and 2008

Food sampling and examinations for official control purposes are carried out by official agencies under contract to the FSAI. Data relating to these activities are submitted to and analysed by the FSAI.

This report was prepared by a working group on behalf of the Microbiology Sub-committee of

the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) and was adopted by the Scientific Committee for
presentation to the FSAI.
