Babease Ltd. is recalling three batches of its Broccoli, Parsnip & Lentils with Onion, Tomato, Quinoa, Fennel, Rapeseed Oil & Herbs baby food as there have been isolated cases in which Babease Ltd. has identified a packaging fault. This could potentially lead to natural spoilage of the product. No other Babease Ltd. products are known to be affected.
Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) are requested, as part of routine inspections, to check businesses to determine if the implicated batches are on sale. If found, EHOs should oversee a recall and ensure a point-of-sale notice is displayed in store. Please notify the FSAI (email@example.com) of the name and address of any suppliers of these batches.
Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, caterers & retailers:
Food businesses, including online retailers, currently selling the affected batches must immediately remove these products from sale. Food businesses that have sold the affected batches to consumers must display a point-of-sale notice in store and on websites if sold online.
Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batches. If consumers have the implicated products at home they are asked to contact Babease Ltd. customer service department (phone: +44 -207-6520576, email: firstname.lastname@example.org) for a full refund and replacement or return the item to the store it was purchased from, for a full refund.
