Thursday, 28 August 2014
Today, the FSAI published its Annual Report and accounts for 2013. 2013 marked the fourteenth year of operations for the Food Safety Authority of Ireland. 2013 was probably the year when the FSAI firmly established itself on the global stage as one of the leading national agencies charged with protecting consumers’ health and consumers’ interests. Its role to protect the consumer, regulate the food industry, enforce food safety standards and to use the best scientific advice to underpin risk management decisions has never been as important.
