The EU have a number of special import conditions for certain foodstuffs of animal origin which have been put in place at Community level in order to protect human health. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and other emergency safeguard measures may be in place for imports from certain third countries. Please refer to the section on Imports for a list of approved third countries, the products they are approved to trade in and the establishments approved for export to the EU.
