Labelling of Fresh Meat

As well as including the specific requirements relating to fresh meat (e.g., identification or health marks), prepackaged meat is also subject to general labelling requirements set out in Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.  Further information on these labelling rules which apply to all prepacked foods including prepacked meat can be viewed in the section titled - Food Information to Consumers
